Our NU GU9 Team showed great sportsmanship and spirit! Recently the GU9 team played a regular league game against Oak Ridges. The Oak Ridges team has had a tough season and has yet to win a game. Darryl Burke and his NU team came up with medals for the Oak Ridges' girls and had each NU player write a letter of encouragement for a player on the other team. The Oak Ridges team and coaching staff were overwhelmed. Check out their thank you letter here! Way to go NU GU9!! Awesome team sportsmanship!!The B96A team won Gold in the BU14 division championship at the Collingwood Tournament this past June. The boys did not allow a goal against in the entire tournament while netting 20. This is their 2nd tournament win in recent months. Earlier in May they won the Frank Sobil Tournament held in Oshawa.
The NU G97A team had a great weekend (July 10-11, 2010), winning the U13 girls Ambassador’s Cup in Kingston ON. The team won all 5 of their games, scoring 13 times and allowing only 1 goal against.
