Technical Training 2009
The Newmarket Soccer Club’s Development program is now in its third year and year three is proving to be a great success.
Players from U8 to U17 have received coaching from nationally licensed coaches, which is consistent with the NSC’s policy of only hiring coaches for the program with a National B License or higher. Over a 10 week period, players are exposed to techniques that develop a variety of ball mastery skills, coordination, agility, team building and team shape. The development program also promotes coaching development as Rep coaches are encouraged to work alongside the development coaches in order to enhance their knowledge of different coaching methods.
The Club's Development program is scheduled to move outside in early May and will continue until late fall. The program will then move into its new home, the NSC soccer dome.Technical Training - Highlights
