On behalf of the Newmarket Soccer Club Board of Directors, I would like to take this time to wish you and your families a very Happy New Year!

The NSC will be entering it’s 48th year and what a year we have planned. 2008 will prove to be one of our most successful years in history with the introduction of our new indoor facility, new uniform suppliers in our house league and competitive divisions and our new communication delivery systems.

Our indoor facility is well on its way, however, due to circumstances beyond our control, will have a projected opening date of Fall 2008. We are planning new and improved player development clinics and camp programming in anticipation of this new facility. This facility has been made possible through the long hours and vision from our team of focused and dedicated Directors and Contractor. Through this long ordeal, there was only one focus, our members need for an NSC owned and operated indoor facility.

For the outdoor 2008 season we have partnered with two new suppliers for our uniforms in both recreational and competitive. For our house league division we have partnered with Admiral, a tried and true supplier of soccer uniforms in Canada. We are very excited to offer our house league players a brand name that they can be proud of. On the competitive side, we have partnered with Legea, a reputable supplier of professional soccer uniforms in Europe. The NSC is one of the first clubs in Ontario to partner with Legea, who has a proven track record of success throughout Quebec.

Our new on-line registration programme and website have been launched! After many complaints regarding improving the lines of communication, we have listened and implemented a new on-line registration programme and a new and improved website. Both tools will help us communicate to you, our members, in a more timely and expedient manner. We want you to feel part of our club and know of all the events that we have planned for 2008!

There is so much more that we have planned for 2008 and want you to be a part of it! The Newmarket Soccer Club has a long and rich history of success, and through all of our efforts, will make 2008 a year to be proud of!
